Our Journey by Louisa
Our leaving presents from the EI Iringa Team were our own mugs! Mine is pink! |
Our Roast Dinner with the team before we left |
From Iringa we went to Dodoma which is a very nice place. It has a swimming pool and a slide going in the pool. We played with a friend there called Esther. There is also a playground where we played Pirates! In the car we were VERY packed. Everything came falling down on top of me when we went over a bump and Daddy didn’t see it! It came tumbling down. The next day we stayed in Nzega which also has a swimming pool. On the way we saw some dead dogs on the road.
Our House by Amisadai
Our house is quite small but it has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small kitchen and a living room. which has a TV! We didn’t have a TV in Iringa! We have a dining table and lots of sofas.
We have some kind and friendly neighbours. We are surrounded by houses. The ones at the back of our house have four big pigs, (they all have piglets except the male one), lots of chickens, five grown up cows and one little calf, two rabbits, and about twelve dogs. We get a litre of milk from their cows every morning.
The neighbours on our right have only one cat. We have a new friend who lives there who is called Mayi. The neighbours on our left have a very loud guard dog! And the ones opposite us we don’t know, but they have a very big fancy house, about 2000 dollars rent a month! Whew!!We have two new friends, Belinda and Brenda who are Pastor Zakayo and Evelyn's girls and live about 10 minutes from our house.
Our New City by Louisa
Mwanza is a big city. It has much bigger shops than Iringa. There is a fish market where you can buy fish straight from the lake! There is a really big supermarket with trolleys! It is HUGE (compared to anything in Iringa)! There is a little trolley shop which we call the Merry Christmas shop because at the front of the door it says Merry Christmas! You can buy biscuits at the little trolley shop. Merry Christmas Shop |
Our First Visitors by Amisadai
Andy and Angela came to visit us with their friend, Brian, on their way to the Serengeti. We had lots of fun with them. We went to a beach on the shores of Lake Victoria, had coffee out at the Gold Crest Hotel and had fun making a helicopter out of lego. They bought a lot of our things with them, including our piano. We really miss them. On Lake Victoria |
