About us!

We are Amisadai and Louisa Monger (aged 15 and 13). In 2010, we moved to Tanzania in Africa - look at the map below to see if you can find it! We hope you will enjoy reading about our adventures and looking at our photos! Please don't forget to send us a message too!

SODIS Shake Fundraiser

We are doing a Fundraiser! Please have a look at our new website (www.mongergirlswaterworks.webs.com) and think about joining in with us! We'd love to get our friends from all over the world involved! World Water Day is on March 22 and the fundraiser will run through to the end of May.

SODIS water
On April 17th, we did a SODIS SHAKE! We treated 100L of water to make it safe to drink by shaking 67 bottles for one minute each with a group of people our family was teaching about the importance of clean water.

Walk for water

We did a WATER WALK! Did you know that the average distance walked here to collect water is 6km. Actually we know lots of places where you have to go a lot further. In Ikuka where we did a stoves project, the closest water was 10km away! But we walked a 6km distance and would love you to sponsor us doing this!

All the money we raise is going to go equally to Dr Makori's Mobile Clinic work on the islands on Lake Victoria and towards getting a Land Cruiser that we can use to get to villages and islands to go and help more people. Click on the videos (right) to watch the vimeo slideshow to show you Kome Island and what Dr Makori is doing there. We hope you will help us!

Please share about this with your friends! Thank you!
